The Twin Cedars Basketball Squads take a road trip to Cedar Rapids tonight to take on Valley Lutheran. The Saber girls are 1-2 after a 56-24 loss to Wayne on Tuesday. Coach Trent Verwers says the addition of Valley Lutheran was due to both schools needing a game to fill the schedule. The Sabers should be the heavy favorite in both games, as the Crusaders girls lost to North Tama in their opener 55-4, getting shut out in three of the four quarters. The Saber boys may also be a heavy favorite as Valley Lutheran lost to North Tama 59-26 on Tuesday.
