Pleasantville’s boys basketball team has games on back-to-back nights to close out the regular season, and it starts tonight as they play at home against non-conference opponent Saydel.
The Trojans are currently sitting with a 5-14 record and have lost five consecutive games, including getting routed by Van Meter Tuesday night. The Trojans will be looking to get their first win since January 30 when they won at Clarke. Coach Tom Wilkins KNIA Sports that he needs somebody other Mason Scheve to step up, just like they did in their game against ACGC Monday.
“Other guys were looking to step up. Early on it was Colby Sandholdt driving to the bucket and Jake DeJoode did some good things in there as well. Instead of standing around and watching, we participated and did some good things.”
Pleasantville’s game against Saydel is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 PM tonight.
