The Norwalk Boys Basketball program has its new head coach, as long-time assistant Aaron Pelzer was officially named the leader of the program Tuesday. Pelzer has been an assistant coach for 17 seasons, and also serves as a special needs instructor at Lakewood Elementary.
In a statement, Pelzer said this is his dream job, and he looks forward to continuing the culture and success that Coach Larson has established, as well as moving the program forward in transitioning to a 4A classification.
Pelzer takes over for Chris Larson, who stepped away after this past season after 24 years at the helm.
