Norwalk senior baseball player Cody Hargin signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Grand View University in Des Moines. He says he’s excited to join a program close to home.

“When I went to Grand View, it felt like the right fit. I liked everything about the school, not just the baseball aspect of it, I thought it was the right fit for the next four years. The whole coaching staff made me know Grand View was the right place for me.”

Hargin, a catcher, started 29 games last year and appeared in 33. He only had 50 at bats, but led the team with 236 putouts on the season. Hargin was one of 11 Norwalk student-athletes who signed their letters of intent last week.
