Rebounding has been a key to Twin Cedars Girls success on the basketball court early this season. The Sabers have two players in the top ten of the Bluegrass Conference in rebounding with Kisha Reed grabbing 39 rebounds and Jetta Sterner with 36. Coach Zack Dunkin tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Reed has been nearly relentless in getting boards and he has noticed her progress.

Dunkin: “She’s not the tallest on the team but she’s very athletic and she’s been tenacious and very aggressive rebounding, she doesn’t let the ball come to her she goes and gets it, plus she’s stayed out of foul trouble which helps with our short bench.”

Reed has 39 rebounds which is just under eight per game but has committed just 11 fouls which is just over two per game. Twin Cedars will travel to Mormon Trail on Friday.
