The Knoxville Public Library is holding a book reading and signing with author Larry Baker on September 14th.

Baker lives in Iowa City and has previously served on the Iowa City City Council. He has written several books and his newest one is called “Harry and Sue: A Story of Love and Ghost”. He will be reading from his book and signing copies for anyone looking to purchase it at the Knoxville Public Library.

Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson says some of the characters in this book are based on Knoxville residents.

“He is going to be talking about his latest book called Harry and Sue. He tells me he has based some of the characters in the book on some of our residents in Knoxville so I’m really really looking forward to that reading.”

The event will start at 6:00 pm.
