The Knoxville Wrestling Squad went 1-2 at the Norwalk Duals on Saturday, getting the lone win over Cedar Rapids Washington 62-18. 11 Panthers took wins including Joe Finnegan, Chase Rider, Tristan Sinnard, Brody DeJong, Kale Kincaid, Christian Braida, Daniel Gorskikh, Jayden Montalvo, Reagan Roberts, Kyler Gifford, and Tre DeRaad. The Panthers lost the other two duals to Ankeny Centennial 72-9, with Gorskikh and Roberts taking wins, and the Panthers also fell to the host Warriors 60-18 with Gifford, David Gorskikh and Daniel Gorskikh, who completed the 3-0 day. Knoxville will return home on Thursday to host a South Central Conference Quad.
The Knoxville Bowling Squads were back at the lanes for the first time since the break and the girls picked up their first dual win of the season with a close 1970-1966 victory over Ballard. Brigette Renard had a high series of 315 and a high game of 167. The boys fell to the Bombers 3010-2447. Tristen Carter rolled a high game of 215 and a series of 406. Knoxville is hosting Sigourney on Friday.
