The City of Knoxville has provided a timeline for the Street Improvement Project as this year’s construction is set to begin shortly.

Starting in May the city will begin construction in two stages with the first being Main St. from 1st St. to 2nd St., and the second in June being Main St. from 3rd St. to 5th St. Both stages are expected to be completed by November. Stage three will start in April of 2025 with construction on Robinson St. from 4th St. to 5th St., which is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025. The project is contracted through Sternquist Construction for just over $3 Million.
