The PCM volleyball team fell in straight sets to top ranked Mount Vernon in the Class 3A Region 1 semifinals on Thursday to end their 2024 season.

The Mustangs held their own against a 40-4 team who is one of the best teams in the entire state of Iowa. PCM  dropped set one 25-14, set two 25-15, and set three 25-14. The Mustangs finished the season with a 16-11 overall record and will graduate four seniors.
