As part of an ongoing tradition highlighting the Christmas holiday at the Pella Opera House, a portion of the efforts to raise funds for youth programming received an enhancement this winter season.

Susan Canfield says she worked with a group of volunteers to bolster the Christmas Boutique showcased in the Great Hall. Canfield says the shop includes several hand crafted holiday decorations, some of which were recycled or repurposed from donations.

The Pella Opera House Festival of Trees continues until Sunday, while the boutique will remain open until all merchandise is sold or December 21st. Proceeds from all related events benefit youth programming for the entertainment venue. Hear more about the project on today’s Let’s Talk Pella.
