Pella’s boys golf team opened the 2025 season at Saydel, placing 4th as a team. The Dutch were paced by KJ Besick, who shot a 68 to place 3rd individually. The Dutch had Cole Floden (74), Landon Reynolds (81), and Patrick Bishara (82) round out the score. Pella is next in action at home against six other schools on Thursday at Bos Landen. The #5 in 2A Pella girls soccer team hung tough with #1 in 3A Ankeny, falling 3-1 Friday night. The Dutch are participating in the Ankeny and Centennial Crosstown Invitational. Claire Smock scored the Dutch goal late on a PK attempt. Pella falls to 1-1 and returns against #2 in 3A Valley this morning at 10 a.m.
