The Newton girls tennis team fell to Boone 11-0 Monday. The Toreadores won all six singles matches and the five doubles matches in two sets. Junior Sloan Brodersen had the best singles match for the Cardinals, losing a second set 6-6 tiebreaker 7 to 2. Brodersen was also involved in the closest doubles match with sophomore Kaetlin McPartlin, losing 6-3 and 6-4. 

Today, the now 1-1 Cardinals travel to Norwalk to play at 4:15 p.m..
