In a thrilling finish at Mineart Field, Norwalk goalie Jacoby Robbins scored the game-tying goal with 14 seconds left as the Warrior boys soccer team tied Dallas Center-Grimes in a 1-1 defensive battle. With time winding down, Norwalk pulled Robbins from the net and he was able to find the back of the net off a free kick assist from Teegan Kralik. Robbins also had two saves on a night when Norwalk attempted only two shots on goal. The Warriors are now 2-0-1 and will host Denison-Schleswig on Friday night at 7:15.

Norwalk Girls Soccer falls to DC-G

In an early-season matchup of top 5 girls soccer teams, Class 2A No. 2 Dallas Center-Grimes defeated 2A No. 4 Norwalk 2-0 at DC-G. The Mustangs scored both goals in the first half and were able to hold on. Norwalk goalie Katie Liedtke kept the game close, making 11 saves unofficially. The Warriors are now 2-1-1 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play. They will host North Polk on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
