A pair of ordinances on the Tuesday Pella City Council agenda will increase water and wastewater rates in the City of Pella in the upcoming fiscal year.

The water rate and sanitary sewer rate proposals are at five percent, starting with the August 2025 bill. Both of those increases were discussed during the budget workshops held earlier this spring. The base fee for both services for residents would increase by $1.07, with a per-1,000 gallon rate increment of $0.26.
