The Pleasantville boys golf team fell short of a trip to state on Monday as they finished eighth at their district meet held at Carroll National Golf Club.

The Trojans finished eighth out of nine teams but were still just ten strokes away from advancing to state under first year head coach Sheldon Card. Pleasantville finished with a team score of 355 in the 18-hole event. The top individual score for the Trojans was Easton Cox who shot an 84. Other individual scores below:

Caylor Jones – 88

Lincoln Card – 90

Kayne Brent – 93

Lukas Klootwyk – 95

Cash Kloootwyk – 102

The Trojans will just graduate one senior in Lukas Klootwyk in their starting six.
