The Knoxville City Council approved four facade improvement grant applications at their meeting Monday night.

These applications are part of the city’s facade improvement program and eight applications were approved at the last meeting. Five total applications were presented at the meeting but the application from First United Methodist Church was pulled for further review. Also at the meeting was a mayoral reading of a National Garden Week proclamation, and approval of a Larson Street Pump Station Repair Project change order.
