
The Norwalk softball team took both games from Pella Christian in commanding fashion on the road Monday night in a Little Hawkeye Conference doubleheader with game two heard live on the KNIA3 stream.
The #7 Warriors picked up a 15-1 game one win and then defeated the Eagles 13-1 in game two. In game one, Nyah Hulbert, Bailey Birmingham, and Maddie Gullion all had two hits in the contest for the Warriors while Hulbert picked up 6 RBI. The Warriors had 12 hits as a team. The Eagles picked up two hits as a team in game one which came from Rachel Kacmarynski and Amaia Agre.
In game two the Warriors had nine hits as a team with Hulbert going 3-3 at the plate with a double, home run and grand slam. The Eagles had seven hits in the contest with the lone RBI coming from Jessica Devries. The Norwalk softball team improves to 6-0 on the season as the Eagles fall to 0-6.
