David Gravel took night one of the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash with the World of Outlaws Nos Energy Drink Sprint Cars on Friday heard live on KNIA. Gravel patiently picked his way through the field and took the lead from Kerry Madsen coming out of the 2nd turn and won by a comfortable margin. Gravel told KNIA/KRLS Sports he was able to go just about anywhere on the track.

Gravel: “Lap 5 to lap 20 I felt awesome, beginning on lap 21 I started to feel a little weird, but we were good on the bottom and could carry speed.”

Madsen settled for 2nd while Rico Abreu took 3rd. In the Pro Sprints race, J Kinder led from start to finish to win on Friday. Kinder won with the race going green to checkered with no interruptions.
