
Pleasantville’s Braylon Bingham and PCM’s Hayden Shannon have received offers to play Division One football at Iowa State University.
Shannon, who was a freshman last season, is a 6’4” 275 pound offensive lineman. Shannon was an instrumental piece of PCM’s undefeated regular season and trip to the dome last season and was an all-state selection. Shannon has Division One offers on the table from Iowa State and Nebraska but also has been recently invited to camps at Missouri, Wisconsin, and has visited spring practice at Iowa according to his personal X account.
Bingham, who is a talented four sport athlete for the Trojans, was an all-state football selection last year as a sophomore. Bingham was selected as a defensive back but had an outstanding season at quarterback as well. On defense, Bingham had 49.5 tackles, one tackle for loss, a fumble recovery, and six interceptions with one returned for a touchdown. On offense, Bingham threw for 1,749 yards, 23 touchdowns, and rushed for 368 yards and eight touchdowns. Bingham has also been an all-state baseball selection twice, was an all-state basketball selection last season, and has qualified for the state track and field meet in the high jump. Bingham has also received camp invites from Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
