The Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance is gearing up for its annual charity golf outing on August 15th. 

Mary Mansfield with the PACE Alliance says the 2025 theme is Luau on the Links, and will raise funds to support the Pella Police Department. The PACE Alliance Golf Outing has benefitted local public safety groups, and Mansfield adds that funds raised this year will help with the police department purchase a UTV.

“So it’s just something to get around, especially during Tulip Time where it’s very hard to get around with vehicles or sometimes even walk but you need to get somewhere fast. And so, that’s what we’re going to help raise funds for this year is for them to be able to purchase a UTV to use in our community. ”

The PACE Alliance’s Luau on the Links Golf Outing will be held on Friday, August 15th at Bos Landen Golf Course.
