
Amber Addington earned a medal and placed 11th for the Melcher-Dallas Cross Country Squad on Tuesday as the Saints ran at Central Decatur. Addington’s time of 24:30 was also a new personal best. Alice Lamb placed 22nd in 27:26. For the boys, Austin Remster was 35th in 22:26, and Tristan Steele was 51st in 26:48. Melcher-Dallas did not have enough runners to post a score. The Saints head to Pleasantville on Monday.
The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad fell to Moravia on Tuesday in three sets 25-10, 25-20, and 25-14. Ashlyn Metz and Maddy DeJong led in kills with three, each. Calee Ademeint led in serving going 9/10 with two aces and Sophie Lamb was 8/8. DeJong also had six digs, and Danni Enfield added five. Lotty Nolte and Kesley Reed both added a block. Coach Jesyka Nolte told KNIA Sports that it was a tough night and her team could not get into a rhythm. Melcher-Dallas will travel to Seymour on Thursday
