It was a tough night for the Twin Cedars Volleyball Squad as the Sabers were swept by Ankeny Christian in three sets 25-16, 25-9, and 25-6 on Tuesday. The Sabers were stymied at every turn by the Eagles, who have dominated the Bluegrass Conference in recent seasons and have won the last three class 1A State Championships. Blayne Comstock with two kills, Bella Wichhart with eight digs and Khloe French serving 12/12 with three aces led the Sabers who fall to 1-7 on the season and head to Moulton-Udell on Thursday.
