A challenging course and a talented tournament field saw the Central College men’s golf team finish 13th at the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire on Tuesday.

Central had a two-day total of 309-306-615 playing on the Eau Claire Golf & Country Club’s par-71 course. Finishing eight shots back of the medalist, Bautista Valeiras was the best finisher for Central in 13th place with a 73-76–149. Maison Brandt tied for 33rd (79-73–152) and Carter Yurgae shared 37th place (76-77–153). Blake Wynn finished tied for 84th (81-80–161) and Crew Klingner was in 116th (90-86-176).

The Dutch host the Central Fall Classic on October 6th and 7th in Pella at Bos Landen Golf Club.
