Preparations are underway for the spring bloom in the City of Pella. Pella Historical Museums Executive Director Jessi Galligan says flower beds in the Historical Village and Scholte Gardens are being prepared for tulip bulbs. The City of Pella parks department shared a Facebook post on Wednesday highlighting their staff preparing city parks. Each year, Pella Historical, the City of Pella, and other community groups and businesses plant well over 300,000 tulip bulbs in October and November in anticipation of a bloom from mid-April to early-May.
