Area marching bands finished their 2025 seasons on Saturday in Pella, Waukee, and Ankeny.

Iowa High School Music Association State Festival Results (Division I is the highest possible score):
Pella – I
Knoxville – I
Indianola – I
Norwalk – I
Newton – I
PCM – I

At the Mid Iowa Band Championship in Ankeny, Pella outscored all bands, placing 1st in Class 4A, earning caption awards for percussion and color guard. Newton placed 10th.

At the Waukee Marching Invitational in the afternoon and evening, Knoxville placed 6th in Class 3A, while Norwalk placed 5th and Indianola was 6th in Class 4A.
