The Pleasantville volleyball team will travel to La Porte City tonight to face off against Union in the Class 2A Region 6 quarterfinals.

The Trojans are 17-20 on the season and coming off a straight set win over Central Decatur on Monday night in their first round regional game. The Knights are 35-12 overall and this will be their first game of the postseason. The Trojans are led in kills this year by freshman Harper McGraw who has 256 and senior Lily Mason who has 250. Pleasantville is led in digs by Mason who has 217 and assists by Gabby Baethke with 605.

Union is led in offense by Bianca Grimm who has 389 kills and Taylen Smith who has 304. Tonight’s match starts at 7:00 pm and the winner will either face Interstate 35 or Grand View Christian in the regional semifinals.
