Pleasantville’s Summer Isley and Amelia Latch punched their tickets to the state cross country meet on Thursday.

Isley finished third and Latch finished fourth at their Class 1A state qualifying meet hosted by Central Decatur. Isley finished with a time of 20:23.40 while Latch finished with a time of 20:24.40 which were both personal bests. As a team the Trojan girls fell just short of qualifying for state as a team as they placed third overall with a team score of 76. Ryleigh Hardman just missed the cut qualifying as an individual as she placed 17th overall.

The Trojan boys finished seventh overall with a team score of 180 and their top finisher was Solomon Claussen who placed 35th with a time of 20:32.60. Complete boys and girls results can be found here. Isley and Latch will compete Saturday, November 1st at 2:00 pm in Fort Dodge.
