The people responsible for providing city services in Newton will be recognized this coming week with a free breakfast. The annual Appreciation Breakfast is set for Wednesday. Employees will be stopping into the City Council Chambers at City Hall between 7:00 a.m. and 9 a.m. to enjoy a free breakfast, with the city covering the costs. The breakfast is held by the City of Newton Employee Recognition Committee.
