The #11 Indianola volleyball team is one match away from their fourth straight trip to the state tournament tonight, on the road at #4 Waukee. The Indians have matched up with the Warriors three times already this season in tournament play, going 0-3, but the Indians are counting on their late season push to get them over the hill of playing Waukee.

The Indians fell to the Warriors early in the season twice, going 0-4 falling by an average of 10 points per set. However in their latest matchup in Johnston, Indianola fell 2-1 but only lost in their sets by two points. Head coach Jana McGraw said the Indians used the experience of their tough schedule to grow up a lot and improve over the course of the season, and they won’t be intimidated despite the previous matchups.

First serve is tonight at 7pm at Waukee High School.
