The Pleasantville volleyball team concluded their 2025 season last week and they will graduate just two seniors.
The Trojans finished their season falling to Union in Regional play and ended their year with a 17-21 overall record. There is much to be excited about for the future of Pleasantville volleyball as the Trojans will bring back a majority of their team next year. However, the two players that will be graduating were significant contributors and a key piece to the success of the program. Pleasantville will graduate Ariah Phipps and Lilian Mason who were both captains on this year’s team.
This season, Mason was second on the team for kills with 261, led the team in digs with 221, had 18 blocks, and carried a 91.5% serve efficiency percentage with 47 aces. Phipps had 15 blocks, 26 digs, and 20 kills. Next season Pleasantville will return Harper McGraw, Claira Vestal, Kinley Kennedy, and Gabby Baathke who were all freshman this season and major contributors on the team as McGraw led the team in kills and Vestal and Kennedy were third and fourth. Baethke also recorded 626 assists in her freshman campaign. Pleasantville will also return sophomore Kally Wysong who had 160 digs and led the team in aces with 50.
