Pella Christian’s Middle School Theatre group is back on the stage this fall, presenting Ever After next Friday and Saturday at 7 pm in the Vermeer Auditorium at Pella Christian High School. There will also be a matinee performance for area schools and homeschool families next Friday at 12:45 pm. Cast members Noah Golliet and Lily Wackerly say that they have enjoyed making new friends and building stronger bonds with them while working on this production.
Golliet: “It’s really fun doing theater and I think it’s really healthy for the students, because you get to make lots of friends. I made a lot of friends when I first came here through theater, and it’s gotten me to be more open to the world.”
Wackerly: “I would say, just like Noah said, that you get to make a lot of new friends and you make better connections with them. Especially, if you have a lot of parts with them, because you’re talking to them a lot more and getting to know them a lot better.”
