U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley is featured on today’s Let’s Talk Pella on 92.1 KRLS to discuss the ongoing government shutdown. He believes a resolution could be coming soon, especially as SNAP benefits will be impacted this month.

“On Thursday, I sounded the alarm as the lapse in government funding endangered food assistance for 42 million Americans rapidly approached. That was November 1, the approach date,” Grassley said in remarks on the Senate floor Monday. ” I’ve got Iowans calling my office asking me where they can get food for their families. This is a sad commentary on the politics in a nation of abundance.”
