The Pleasantville football team surpassed a major offensive milestone in 2025.

The Trojans broke the school record for yards of offense in a season with 4,076. Pleasantville fell to Iowa City Regina Friday night in the state quarterfinals but they were clicking on all cylinders on the offensive side of the football for almost the entirety of the season. The Trojans had a good balance of passing and rushing as they recorded 1,902 passing yards and 2,174 rushing yards.

Pleasantville ended their season with a 9-2 overall record and will return many key players next season. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for an upcoming story about all-district award winners.
