The Knoxville Community School District will hold a K-5 family literacy night tonight.

This is an opportunity to come out and join the district’s Title I Reading Team for a night of literacy. From 5:30-5:45,  there will be a Title I Parent Meeting to learn about the Title I program and what children  are learning to help improve reading skills. From 5:45-6:30, there will be make and take reading activities where attendees can make a reading activity to take to work on with a child. There will be different activities for each grade level. The night will close from 6:30-7:00 with a K-ACT Performance where a K-ACT group will put on a special performance. 

The event will be at 306 S Park Lane Drive. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a book to swap and snacks will be provided.
