The annual Jasper County 4-H Festival of Trees is set up inside the Jasper County Courthouse in Newton. Every year, 4-H clubs across the county select a charitable organization and collect items and donations for it. They then decorate a Christmas tree in a way that represents the organization, and oftentimes includes some of the donated items. The trees are displayed on the first and second floor of the Jasper County Courthouse through Christmas. They can be seen from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, when the Jasper County Courthouse is open.
