The annual Merry-N County Christmas drive-through light display presented by THRIVE Knoxville and the Marion County Historical Society will continue this weekend.

The sixth annual event held at Marion County Park will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through December 21st from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The drive-through event is a free will admission and there are 70 unique hand made displays that showcase many different community businesses and organizations. Bridget Mohler with THRIVE Knoxville encourages everyone to come check out the lights.

“It’s just a fun event that you can take your family and friends to and drive through or drive through multiple times. I had a lady last year that wasn’t even from town, she was out on the bypass and saw the lights from the bypass and turned around and came into town just to go through our light display. It’s a pretty unique thing for our area and pretty big for our area so definitely come out and see us.”

Santa Claus also is at Merry-N County Christmas along with a mailbox for letters to the North Pole. Those driving through the display can tune their radio to 95.3 KNIA for Christmas music
