
The Indianola City Council meets in regular session tomorrow. On the agenda, members will consider a liquor license renewal for Indianola Lodge No. 2814, part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Council members will also take a second look at an ordinance updating recycling rates, approve a change order and final payment for the West Clinton Avenue Reconstruction Project, and accept a public utility easement for part of Outlot 124. Officials are also expected to approve maximum refuse hauling rates for 2026 and a resolution confirming city salaries. During public consideration, the council will review a lease agreement for parking with New Heights Church and Trinity United Presbyterian Church. The meeting will include committee reports, a mayoral community update, and a city manager report, with time set aside to discuss future agenda items. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
