
The Norwalk bowling teams were defeated by Urbandale on Monday at Gameday Lanes. The J-Hawk girls outscored the Warriors by a final pin count of 2,223 to 1,760. Urbandale won the boys meet 2,924 to 2,658.
The Norwalk girls were led by freshman Juliana Johnson, who rolled identical games of 167 for a 334 series. Baylee Baldwin finished with a two-game set of 247 and Molly Olson added a 193. Blake Halsted paced the Norwalk boys with games of 266 and 202 for a 468 total. Tanner Housley provided another highlight by converting a difficult 6-7-10 split for a spare.
Both Warrior teams are now 0-2 on the season. Their next dual meet is December 13 vs. Newton at Air Lanes Bowling Center.
