The Norwalk City Council will consider several infrastructure, zoning, and ordinance items at its meeting tonight. It will be the final meeting of 2025.
On the agenda, council members will vote on a resolution approving a parking waiver for the Dunn Industrial Condominiums and consider an engineering services agreement with Veenstra and Kimm for the city’s 2026 Founder’s Water Main Improvements Project.
The council is also scheduled to take a second reading of an ordinance amending the city’s zoning code related to gates on commercial property, a topic that has seen multiple rounds of discussion in recent meetings. In addition, members will take final action on updated subdivision regulations that revise road construction standards and warranty and maintenance bond requirements for public infrastructure. Related to that item, the council will also consider a resolution outlining the city’s participation in road construction costs under the new standards. The agenda also includes the final reading of an ordinance repealing and replacing Chapter 35 of the Norwalk City Code, updating language related to the city’s fire department.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at Norwalk City Hall at 6 p.m.
