
The Indianola boys wrestling team went 2-1 in the championship bracket at the Battle of Waterloo on Saturday, while the girls wrestlers placed 16th at Chariton.
The Indianola boys fell to reigning class 3A champ Southeast Polk in a close match 40-26, but took down Don Bosco 42-24 and dominated C-G-D 50-17 as they took home a second place finish.
The Indianola girls scored 36 team points, with Nora Ohnemus continuing her dominating start to the season with a 1st place finish at 100lbs for the best finish of the day.
The boys will next wrestle in the new year at Valley on January 3rd, while the girls will wait until January 8th for a tournament at Nevada.
