The Pleasantville boys wrestling team went 3-2 at their home duals on Saturday as the girls team finished third at the Racoon River ADM Invite.

The Trojan boys defeated Colfax-Mingo 42-29, Panorama 48-23 and West Central Valley 42-30 and fell to Albia 53-28 and Bondurant-Farrar 35-24. Blake Rowson went a perfect 5-0 on the day while Carter Messamaker and Paul Gasparovich went 4-1. Nathaniel Oliver, Cale Sorenson and Micah Hume went 3-2. Complete results can be found here. 

The Pleasantville girls placed third with 83 team points out of 12 total teams. The top finishers for the Trojan girls were Josie Howrey placing second at 115 pounds, Amelia Latch placing third at 130, Addie Koenig placing fourth at 145 and Hayden Edwards placing fifth at 155. The Trojan boys will next compete on January 8th at Montezuma and the girls will be back in action on January 2nd at EBF.
