After three days away from competition, the Class 2A #9 Pella Christian boys basketball team travels to Class 1A #3 Burlington Notre Dame for a non-conference game Monday. The Eagles girls basketball team was originally scheduled to travel with the boys for a doubleheader, but the Nikes canceled the varsity girls game due to illness. The Eagle boys are trying to build on the momentum of going 3-1 over the last two weeks, falling in a hard-fought game against Norwalk while defeating Fairfield, Oskaloosa, and Van Meter. Pella Christian faces a difficult test in Class 1A #3 Burlington Notre Dame however, as the Nikes are 19-0 on the season with an average margin of victory of 28 points per game. Tip-off of the ranked boys basketball matchup between Pella Christian and Burlington Notre Dame is scheduled for 7:30 pm. A live stream of the boys game can be found here.
