A candidate for Governor was in Pella earlier this week.
On Monday, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra of Hull stopped at The Bread Board in Pella as part of his statewide tour of Iowa. He spoke with voters about his priorities if elected to the highest office in the state.
“It was fun to be in Pella at The Bread Board meeting with a great group of Iowans who want to continue the conservative agenda in our state. I’m running for Governor to make Iowa the most business- and ag-friendly state in the country, deliver world-class education for our kids, keep our kids in Iowa with great jobs and opportunities, and deliver high-quality, affordable healthcare for all Iowans. I look forward to being back in Pella soon and meeting new faces,” said Feenstra.
KNIA/KRLS has reached out to Feenstra’s campaign for an interview to discuss the visit. If recorded, it will be featured soon on either Let’s Talk Pella or In Touch with South Central Iowa. Fellow Republican candidates Adam Steen and Brad Sherman have been interviewed, as has Democratic State Auditor Rob Sand. The 2026 June primary election for both parties will be held on June 2nd.
