Melcher-Dallas Schools has recently had a case of bullying that has gained national attention. Superintendent Delane Galvin says there are policies in place to handle incidents of bullying, and Melcher-Dallas School District prohibits bullying and harassment of students. Galvin tells KNIA KRLS News that the students involved in this case were suspended, and all videos that were posted online have been removed. He adds that anti-bullying and anti-harassment training is always a priority, and is ongoing. In fact, 8 members of Melcher-Dallas staff held an ad hoc local bullying and harassment meeting just this week.
