Last week, KNIA/KRLS News brought you a full list of winners on our website for the 2013 “Best of the Red Rock Area” Awards, and this week on air we will highlight winners in each category. Today’s focus is on shopping. Best Antique Shop went to Simple Treasures in Pella, Best Consignment or Thrift Store was Bibles for Missions Thrift Center, the Best Gift Shop was The Next Chapter in Knoxville, and the Best Place to Purchase Locally Made Items was Jaarsma. Voted Best Retail Curb Appeal was Boat’s Home Furnishings, Best Shop for Clothing, Jewelry and/or Accessories was Embellish, while the Best Shop for Fresh Meats was In’t Veld’s Meat Market. Tomorrow we will feature winners in the Entertainment and Recreation categories.
