School board elections will take place across Marion County today.

In Knoxville, two incumbents, school board chairperson Leslie Miller and Mike Helle, are running unopposed to remain members. Larissa Van Donselaar will replace incumbent Tim McDonald, who decided not to run for reelection. In Knoxville, Board President Leslie Miller, Incumbent Michael Helle, and new candidate Larissa Van Donselaar are also running unopposed.

Knoxville Community School District Business Manager Craig Mobley says there can also be write-in candidates for board seats. Knoxville will also have citizens vote on the instructional tax levy.

In Pella, Board Vice President Timothy Tripp and District Two Representative Gary Coppock are running unopposed.

The Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars school boards have contested races that will be decided. A list of candidates is available below:
