Darin Abdoul Wells, Sr. of Knoxville was sentenced yesterday to 15 years in prison for crimes committed in October of 2015.
Wells was arrested after breaking into a home and assaulting two women. Wells was the ex-boyfriend of the one of the victims. After Wells was arrested police found significant quantities of meth and other drugs among his belongings. Wells pled to burglary in the 2nd degree, domestic abuse causing injury, willfully causing injury, and methamphetamine possession 3rd offense.
