A round of heavy rainfall quickly hit Marion County yesterday afternoon.
An inch of rain fell in Knoxville in approximately 30 minutes at around 12:30, temporarily flooding numerous streets. Over an inch also fell at both Lake Red Rock and Pella. A flash flood watch was in effect during the evening, but rain didn’t form as previously predicted. Dry, mild conditions are expected most of today and tomorrow, with more storms in the forecast during the evening Friday. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest weather information.
