The Pella School Board reviewed a spending authority increase application and school calendar policy at their meeting yesterday.

A public hearing was held for each discussion, followed by approval of resolutions. Those included submission of an application to the School Budget Review Committee for more funds based on enrollment growth in this year’s certified numbers and the decision to develop the 2017-18 school calendar with total hours as opposed to a schedule based on days.
