The Knoxville Lions Club presented their American flags along Highway 14 during the entire Nationals.

According to the Lions Club, on Sunday, August 13th they were made aware that 20 American flag and poles had either been taken down or stolen and another 24 poles bent. The club is asking the Knoxville community for help recovering their lost flags. At this time, three flags were found. The club asks residents if they know someone that has one of their flags to please contact the club to recover it. They are currently accepting donations for replacing their lost flags. All donations being received will be used to replace the stolen and damaged flags and poles. Any additional funds will go to the ongoing expenses of maintaining The Lions Highway 14 Avenue of Flags. The club says they appreciate the community’s support.
